Need help finding and buying photos?  Follow this simple step-by-step guide.

Step 1 - Find your photos

Photos from The Stampede Brisbane 2015 have NOT been bib-tagged with race numbers.  This was due to the low percentage of visible race bibs, and our desire to take a consistent approach to presenting photos in a time-efficient manner.

To assist you in finding your photos by browsing, all images been broken up by obstacle AND time of day (AM/PM) so your photos will be in the gallery that corresponds with the time you went through the obstacle - not necessarily when you started or finished the course.

Within each group, the photos are sorted chronologically (so if you were in one of the first waves of the day, your photos will occur early within the AM galleries...conversely if you were in a late wave, your photos will appear toward the end of the PM galleries).

Once you've found your photos, click the 'Select Photos' button on the top right of the screen.

This will allow you to tick each image you want to buy.  Once you have ticked all the photos from that gallery, go to the 'Buy' menu and choose 'Save photos for purchasing later':

Repeat for each gallery.  Once you have selected all your photos click the 'Favorites: Selected For Purchase' link in the top left corner of the screen.  From here you can choose to 'Buy All' where you can select formats and quantities.

Step 2 - Add your selected images to cart and choose a format

Choosing which product to select should start with the question; "what am I going to use the image for?"  Answering that is most of the battle, the rest is simply down to your preferences and budget.  Read on for a detailed description of each product.

Digital Options

Small JPEG:  This format is the cheapest option available and is perfect for those who want a budget momento to post online as a small profile pic, or view on their phone/tablet.  At 900x600 pixels it will fill roughly 25% of a modern computer monitor and will not support printing.

Medium JPEG:  This format offers a cost effective option for those who want a larger view (approx full screen) to view online and make their own small prints.  At 1500x1000 pixels it will nearly fill most computer monitors, and supports printing to 4x6 inches.

Large JPEG:  This format is for those who want a high res original file to make their own large prints (up to A3 size and often beyond, depending on cropping) and various other products such as banners, canvases etc.  Akin to 'buying the negative' from the days of film, this product is the most expensive but is the perfect option for teams who want to create their own multiple prints of the same image(s) for multiple team members.

Prints

Prints are perfect for those who want something ready-to-frame so they can hang it on the wall without any of the hassle of printing.  SOK Images offers the following print sizes

  • 5 x 7 inches - traditional format that will require slight cropping of the original file*
  • 8 x 12 inches - modern format to fit the aspect ratio of original files

*Customers are able to set their own cropping when selecting these formats
